First time we visited Buca di
Beppo. The resaurant has great ambience. Everything is served family style.
Menu has a great selection, with numerous choices for everything is for either
two or four people, which makes it great for parties.
We enjoyed a marvelous Beef
Tenderloin with a Basil/Balsamic/Red wine reduction sauce over roasted potaos,
red onions and peppers. A simple green salad. Very fresh and light.
There is an extensive list of
Italian wines to satisfy every taste and wallet. To finish our meal, coffee,
Espresso and an absolutely great Tirimasu. Enough to take home and enjoy the
next day too. Don't miss out. Try Buca di Beppo. ...KB

This neighborhood restaurant has
been rescued by a new owner who has improved the food and the atmosphere
immensely. For people who live "upcounty", this is a great place to grab a bite
when you don't feel like driving into "town".
Although the menu is somewhat
limited with just simple Italian specialties, pizzas and calzones, everything
is well prepared and served FAST and HOT. ...SB

The menu is almost exclusively barbeque, with a variety
of pork, beef, and chicken options and some nice sides. I found the food here
to be quite good at times, but overcooked and dry on other occasions. Its
medium priced, and if your stomach growls for barbeque sauce, its a reasonable

We have enjoyed this unique
restaurant and their extensive sandwich menu for several years. This is not a
fashionable place and lets face it… their sandwiches are guilty pleasures,
but they are really messy, too. I generally feel like I need a towel when we
eat there. But gee… the sandwiches are GREAT and with over 200 to select
from, there is one for everyone's taste buds. You might want to check their web
site before going to the restaurant. It takes more than a few minutes to read

I've been to this restaurant
several times during the last year. The food is not lavish, but is typical
stick to your ribs" diner food. The prices are not outrageous and the offers a
lot of specials like children's nite, and specials on certain week nites. If
your planning a movie date this restaurant won't break the bank.

In fact, I have been
to Tai Shan Asian Cuisine & Sushi several times. I believe they may have
changed the name, but I'm not sure about that. It is, however, the same as it
has been for at least several years.
I have never seen any sushi, not that that matters to us. It is
a large and nicely appointed Asian restaurant, with a more limited menu than
the typical Chinese eatery, but more variety in the cuisine, which ranges from
Japanese to Chinese to Thai. Thai food is often very hot, which I dislike, so
on my last trip I ordered a dinner of shrimp with pineapple in coconut sauce,
to which I actually added a touch of hot oil to "brighten". Suffice to say that
you can find something to please your palate.
Service is courteous and you don't get the "rushed" feeling you
sometimes get in Asian restaurants choosing meals by number. I have always
liked the food, which is well done and freshly prepared. The emphasis is on
quality rather than quantity, though there is certainly no shortage. There is a
bar up front which always seems to be empty. There are many very large round
tables set up in the main dining room for groups as large as 12. In the rear is
an area partially set off for private parties, except that it is not very
private and the noise from that area will fill the restaurant. That would be my
only complaint - a boisterous crowd in the "private area" can intrude on
everyone else's dining. But it is a good choice for a large gathering of your
own, and usually a quiet and relaxed dining experience. ...JG

My husband I had a very nice
dinner at this restaurant and enjoyed a very nice bottle of Greek cabernate. I
had the Mosusaka and it was truly the best I have ever eaten. My husband had
the Lamb Souvlaki. The lamb was tender and seasoned perfectly. This is not an
expensive restaurant. Their menu includes some standard Greek favorites as well

My husband and I have enjoyed
evenings at the Willow Tree. We usually have a nice dinner that ends with a
wonderful slice of the Key Lime Pie and then we enjoy the piano entertainment
in the lounge for a few hours.
I've only been to one catered
event at the Willow Tree. Everything was very nice and the staff went out of
their way to make you feel comfortable. ...SB
